Layer by layer of ink applied on a page to reach some other kind of realisation. Your memory stemming from a once remembered war poster in Portugal in the 70's. Perhaps the one that tried to recruit you into the army.

 

layer for layer, I labour through the work and imagery, performing a kind of catharsis. Inks creating a kind of alchemy with the paper and matrix. An alchemy mixing with a kind of detangling of thoughts as I see imaginative day dreams precariously realised onto a page.
